Nine Henryetta high school choir members will be competing for a state title next month.
The nine received a superior rating at the district solo and ensemble contest Saturday in Tahlequah.
They include soloists Mylei Brinkley, Liberty Easter, Caveryn Foster, Allana Lawrence, Jayson Scott, Camrynn Watkins and Justin Yount. Justin Yount and Jasmine Cantrell competed in the ensemble competition.
Excellent ratings went to soloists Paige Long and Mylie Roser from high school.
Breanna Campbell-Bevenue competed as a soloist from Henryetta Middle School and received a superior rating.
