Anyone taking care of a family member, whether it is a senior citizen or younger person is being invited to a special program May 23.
The Eastern Oklahoma Development District (EODD) is hosting a caregiver conference in Okmulgee. Set at the Roe Family Center, 302 S. Seminole, the program will run from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“This year’s theme is “Caring for Yourself” and we will provide you with the tools you need to care for yourself so that you can continue to provide care for your loved one,” Alysa Kinnell, social services specialist with EODD said.
