Henryetta police will go to a lot of lengths to return stolen property to the rightful owners.
Monday morning police recovered a trampoline that had been stolen last week.
The trampoline was found a few blocks away from its rightful place after police were investigating another theft. With no other transportation available, the officers rolled and carried the bulky outdoor equipment back to the owner. “We went old school in returning it,” said police chief Steve Norman.
The incident report has been turned over to Okmulgee County juvenile authorities since a minor was believed to have been involved.
