Billy Joe Wade, a resident of Henryetta, died Jan. 12, 2015 in Henryetta at the age of 80. He was born Dec. 7, 1934 in Henryetta to Homer Lee and Margaret (Berno) Wade.
Bill served as a reserve deputy for Okmulgee County Sheriff's office and worked as a Park Ranger at Okmulgee He was an Emergency Medical Technician with Okmulgee County EMS retiring in 2004.
He is a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving with the United States Army.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Homer Lee Wade and Margaret Wade, a brother Jerry Wade and a daughter Pamela Jean Dunn.
He is survived by his wife Marilyn Wade of the home; step-daughter Karen Jacobs of Henryetta; four grandsons, Jason Dunn, Travis Dunn, Mikey Dunn all of Sapulpa, and Jeffery Lesley of Henryetta; two granddaughters, Kara Marie Lesley of Beeville, Tex., and Natasha Lesley of Henryetta; twin great-grandsons, Rodley Allen Lesley and Koty Lee Lesley of Henryetta; a sister-in-law, Lois Wade of Dewar; also by a host of friends and other relatives.
Viewing will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 14 and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 15 at Integrity Funeral Service.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 16, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Integrity Chapel Henryetta. Rev. Jack Vance will officiate.
