Set Dec. 12, the parade will start at 6:30 p.m. At a meeting Tuesday, the parade committee said all organizations, churches, schools and individuals are being invited to participate. Anyone with classic automobiles are being invited to enter their cars, trucks and hot rods. Another new category will be all terrain vehicles (ATVs).There is no entry fee and parade registration forms are available by downloading here{jd_file file==11}, at the Henryetta Chamber of Commerce office or Free Lance.
The parade will start at Eighth and Main and end at Third and Main. All parade entries should be at the starting line by 5:30 p.m. Judging will be held during the lineup at 6 p.m. This year the judging categories include Best of Theme, Best Church, Best Business, Best School, Best Use of Lights, Best Classic Vehicle and Best ATV.
Earlier that day, Santa and his helpers will be at Veterans Park just east of the Library visiting and taking pictures with the Henryetta area youths and his helpers will be handing out candy.
