Jan Denise (Halford) Evans died Nov. 1, 2015 in Ponca City. She was born Oct. 29, 1961 to John and Doris (Cox) Halford in Tulsa. She graduated from Dewar High School in 1979 and soon married her husband Terry Oct. 18, 1980. They recently celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary. Jan worked at the Rusty Barrell Supper Club in Ponca City for over 20 years, starting as a waitress and eventually becoming the manager. Jan was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dewar.
She is survived by her husband, Terry Evans, her children, Matt Evans of Borger, Tex., A.J. Evans and wife, Celestia of Sapulpa, Justin Evans and wife Jenny of Borgers; sister, Ruth Coe of Ponca City; mother, Doris (Halford) Panchot and husband Ray Panchot of Tulsa; grandchildren, Daniel, Jacob, Arin, and Ethan, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Johnnie Halford Jr. and her brother, Johnnie Halford III.

Trout Funeral Home in Ponca City Nov. 3 until  8 p.m. The family will be receiving visitors from 6 to 8p.m. Viewing will continue Nov. 4 until 12 pm.
Hayhurst Funeral Home in Broken Arrow Thursday, Nov. 5 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The family will be receiving visitors from 6 to 8 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held at Hayhurst Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Arrow Friday, November 6 at 2 p.m. Burial will follow the service at Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow.
