Henryetta's city government added $201,546.96 to its bank account in November when the sales tax distribution was made.
That was a $3,839.61 gain from the previous year and represented the first time in the past ten years that the sales tax has stayed n the $200,000 range consecutively.
So far this past calendar year, the city has averaged $215,118 each month in sales tax collections. That was up from the $212,656 average shown during the entire 12-month period in 2014.

The sales tax distribution in November for Okmulgee County was down overall. The county received $259,579 compared with $276,910 a year ago.
Statewide, $132,133,374 in sales tax collections was returned to 514 cities and towns reflecting a decrease of $3,946,284 from last year.
The November distribution of sales tax collections by the Oklahoma Tax Commission primarily represents local tax receipts from September business.  Companies that remit more than $2,500 monthly in sales tax receipts are required to file and pay electronically. The monies they reported this period represent sales from Sept. 16 to Sept. 30 and estimated sales from Oct. 1 to Oct. 15.
