Norma Jean (Sally) Williams was born May 28, 1948 in Henryetta to George and Willie May. (Coffee) Robertson and died Feb. 23, 2016 in Thlsa at the age of 67. She was raised in the Henryetta area in the Turkey Pen Hollow community and attended a local rural school. As a young lady, she married Kenneth Williams and to this union a daughter, Carla, was born. She later married Gene Williams and they had five children, Donald, Stacy, Gwyn, Grant and Erin.
Norma lived most of her life in and around Henryetta before moving to Weleetka in 2015.
Preceding her in death were her sister, Shirley Ann and brothers, Andrew, Tommy, Dalton, Doyle and Ray.
Survivors include six children, Carla Jo Williams of Henryetta. Donald Williams and wife Shawna of Arkansas, Stacy Phipps and husband Bill of Weleetka, Gwyn Patterson and husband Allen of Okmulgee, Grant Williams and wife Tanna of Norman and Erin Williams of Haskell; two sisters, Yrrginia Couch of Morris and Susie Pickle and husband Ronald of Henryetta; 17 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Feb. 27, 2016 at the Immanuel Baptist Church in Henryetta with Rev. Tommy Shropshire officiating. Family and friends served as pallbearers.
Interment was in the Coal Creek Cemetery under the direction of Wiliamson-Spradlin Funeral Home of Weleetka and Wetumka.
