Thelma Mae Graffman, a lifelong resident of Schulter and Henryetta, died March 9, 2016 at her home in Henryetta at the age of 95. She was born March 29, 1920 in Granite, Okla., to Charles Edmond Sharp and Anna Clarice (Benton) Sharp.
Mrs. Graffman was a graduate of Henryetta High School class of 1938. She married Gilbert Adolph Graffman, March 23, 1940 in Henryetta. She was the Head Cook for Schulter Public Schools and was also a longtime member of Schulter Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gilbert A. Graffman in 1979, a grandson, Frankie Graffman, a granddaughter, Diane Graffman, also by three sisters, Faye, Opal, and Alyene.
She is survived by four children, Gilbert Lee Graffman and wife Kathy of Henryetta, Charles Graffman and wife Pat of Henryetta, Jimmie Graffman of Weleetka and Sharon Harris and husband Tony of Mustang; eight grandchildren: Angie McCarley and husband David of Waxahachie, Tex., Lisa Jones and husband Bill of Henryetta, Greg Graffman of Kingman, Kans., Aaron Graffman and wife Kelli of Henryetta, Steven Tucker and wife Noel of Blanchard;
Brian Tucker and wife Amy of Purcell, Timothy Mitcham and wife Tina of Wilson, Nicole Graffman of Okmulgee; great grandchildren: Teresa Bachman and husband Michael, Lindsey Dominguez and husband Garrett, Michael Graffman and fiancee' Lauren, Cassie Stephens-Tucker, Taylor Graffman, Bailey Graffman, Alex Graffman, Jaydon Tucker, Bailey Tucker, Stetson Tucker, Emily Graffman, Campbell Tucker, Kaitlyn Graffman, Logan Bachman, Barrett Bachman, Callie Dominguez, and Hadley Graffman; Madalyn Mitcham, Jonathan Mitcham, Boston Graffman, and Brodie Graffman; one sister, Charlene Estira of Tulsa; very special friends, JoAnne Chandler, Gladys and Doug Commons, and Dave Lawson; also by a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Greg Graffman, Aaron Graffman, Timothy Mitcham, Bill Jones, Garrett Dominguez, and Michael Bachman. Honorary pallbearers will be, Bailey Graffman, Alex Graffman, and Taylor Graffman.
Viewing will be from noon until 8 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. until noon Saturday.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Schulter Baptist Church with Rev. Ryan Wells officating, assisted by Pastor Phil Barton. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
