Billy “Bulldog” Robertson a resident of Henryetta, died March 9, 2016 in Broken Arrow at the age of 88.  He was born Aug. 26, 1927 in Henryetta to Fred and Lucille (Lilley) Robertson. Bill was a longtime member of the Immanuel Baptist Church and retired from PPG Industries.  Many a little league ball player will remember Bulldog as the umpire during the summer baseball program.  He was a veteran of WWII serving in the Navy.  He married Thelma Titsworth Aug. 25, 1994 in Arkansas.
He is preceded in death by his first wife Pansy, Parents, Sister: Lawana Jobe and two brothers; Bob and Burley Dean Robertson.
Bill is survived by his wife of 21 years, Thelma Robertson; children: Ginger and husband Joe Shockley of Norman, Mickey and wife Sandy Robertson of Broken Arrow, Dwight and wife Lydell Rhodes of Owasso, Kenny Rhodes of Seminole and Debbie and husband Gary Wells of Henryetta; grandchildren: Brent Shockley, Blake Shockley, Jessica Yeager, Nathan Robertson, Ryan Wells, Justin Wells, Clayton Rhodes and Courtney DeVries; great grandchildren: Owen Shockley,  Cooper Shockley, Sadie Shockley,  Emery Shockley, Jackson Shockley, Savannah Shockley, Parker Shockley, Jude Wells, Luke Wells, Macie Wells, Alex, Dylan, Faith, Jack, Haven, Addy and Mia DeVries; sisters: Alice and husband Bob Mall of Okmulgee, Darlene and husband George Griffith of Pineville, MO and Donna and husband Carl Dickey of Lake Eufaula.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 12, 2016 at the Immanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Tony Lawson and Rev. Ryan Wells officiating.  Military Honors will be conducted by the United States Navy at the Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home.
