Ted Graham will no longer be the Henryetta city manager.
His resignation was announced in a motion at a special council meeting following a nearly three-hour long executive session.
grahamCouncilor Jana Dugan read a prepared statement as her motion saying, "based upon statements by Ted Graham in executive session, under 25 OS section 307 B1, he is resigning his position with a specified severance package and releasing full settlement of claims to the city. This separation agreement is to be presented to the city council for approval."
That motion, seconded by Ronnie Duke, passed unanimously.
The special Monday night meeting was the second in two weeks. At the previous meeting, council members also met in executive session for nearly four hours.
Graham, who was hired in 2013, has been the subject of a number of executive session meetings in recent months. The council suspended him as city manager in February, originally until March 22, then extended that until March 28.
Neither Graham nor any of the council members provided any comments following the meeting Monday night.
In a second item on the agenda, the council approved the 2016-2017 bargaining agreement with the local Firefighters union. That included adding incentive totals for fire service and EMT training.
