Gladys Fay Fields, a longtime resident of Henryetta, died April 5, 2016 in Amarillo, Tex., at the age of 92.
She was born Aug. 30, 1923 at Red Hill to Edward Harris and Pauline (Floyd) Harris along with one brother and four sisters. She married Buddy T. Fields May 2, 1942 in Hanna.
She is preceded in death by her husband Buddy T. Fields, her parents, a son-in-law, Doyle Ewing, one brother, Rex Harris, and four sisters, Ruth Ryal, Edith Harjo, Edna Lane and Blanche Harjo.
She is survived by a son, Donald E. Fields and wife Marty of Amarillo; daughter, Mary Ewing of Lubbock; grandson, Chris Ewing of Lubbock; two granddaughters: Leah Fields of Amarillo and Rachel Howard & husband Justin of Waxahachie, Tex.; two great grandchildren: Menaiya Mia Ewing of Lubbock and Kielon Zaene Fields of Amarillo; as well as loving nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Wylie Ryal, Chris Ewing, Don Luellen, Justin Howard, Austin Harp, and Woxie Ryal. Honorary pallbearers will be Bubba Harjo, David Lane, Jim Ellig and Greg Harjo.
Viewing will be Friday, April 8, 2016 at Integrity Funeral Service from 3 to 8 p.m. with family present to greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m., Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Integrity Chapel, 410 E. Trudgeon St., Henryetta, Oklahoma. Interment will follow in Hanna Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
