The monthly Henryetta Yard of the Month contest starts this month with a basket of gifts and a sign for bragging rights at stake.The program is three years old and has resulted in some great looking yards springing up all over town.
Nominations are now being accepted for April with the deadline for entries April 20.
Residents can nominate a neighbor's yard or even their own. If a yard is nominated but not selected, it can be re-nominated the next month.
Winners will receive a gift basket as well as a special "Yard of the Month" sign. Their photos all be taken and publishing on Thehenryettan.com and newspaper. In addition, a gift donated by various businesses will be included in the basket.
