brayden check

Seven-year-old Braydon Roberts will be seeing the world differently thanks to the generosity of a lot of people.
He received a $7,740 check from the Tulledega Masonic lodge Thursday that put him over the top for his goal to buy eSight glasses. He was born with Septo-optic-dysplasia and Optic Nerve Hypoplasia. Because of that, he is legally blind and also battling some neurological issues.
The Ryal student was the guest of honor at a recent fund-raising dinner at the Henryeta lodge and coupled that effort with another $5,000 from a local church and individual donations.
The glasses have been ordered and should be arriving later this month.
