Delena Ann Montgomery, a longtime resident of rural Henryetta, died Dec. 19, 2017 in Tulsa at the age of 79. She was born Sept. 2, 1938 in Henryetta to George L. Henderson and Magnolia (Poynter) Henderson. She married Jake Montgomery March 30, 1957 in Arkansas and moved to the Wilson Community where they lived for over 60 years.  Delena was a bookkeeper and worked for many years keeping the books for Charlie Ruth Ford in Henryetta.
She is preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Marshall "Curley" Henderson, Russell Henderson, Harold Henderson and Kenneth Henderson. Also by two sisters, Willene Pugh and Betty Granger.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jake Montgomery of the home; two children:, Kenneth Montgomery and wife Brenda of Henryetta and Jana Clark and husband Andy of Tampa, Florida; three grandchildren: Aimee Yarborough and husband Kenny of Edmond, Ashley Montgomery of Oklahoma City and Megan Benson and husband Kent of Edmond; great grandchildren: Cooper Jake Yarborough, Claire Ann Yarborough, and one on the way, Montgomery Kate Benson; sister, Arylene Haynes of Olpe, Kansas; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
The family has requested donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the Shriner's Children's Hospital.
Viewing will be Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Integrity Funeral Service.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:30 p.m., Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Dewar First Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Vance officiating. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
