Charles Edward Conatser, Henryetta, died May 28, 2018 in rural Henryetta at the age of 77. He was born in Henryetta March 21, 1941 to Ruth and Tommy Conatser. Charles graduated from St Michaels Catholic School. He served his country during the Vietnam War. During his 20 years of service he was on air craft carriers, the Ranger, the Constellation and the Enterprise. He lived in San Diego where he was a member of the Bass Club and also a member of the 4X4 club. After his retirement from the Navy he moved back to Henryetta.Charles married Barbara Hale in 1962, they were married 56 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Cathy Conatser Hall and his best friend Bob McGhee.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Conatser of the home; daughter DeAnne Kindell and husband Randy of Schulter; grandson, Michael Charles Kindell of Schulter; granddaughter Kelly Ann Kindell Weigand and husband Derek of Pleasant Valley; great granddaughter: Kindell Ann Weigand of Pleasant Valley; two brothers: Fred Conatser of Oklahoma City and BJ Conatser of Henryetta; uncle Bill Conatser of Henryetta.
Honorary Pallbearers will be John Macaluso and Jimmy Benear
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 2 at the Westlawn Cemetery. US Navy will be conducting full military honors. Services are under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home.
