A trip to the Henryetta Wal Mart by one area resident resulted in more than what she expected.
The shopper got out of her car to pick up a few things but, as she was getting out, so was a nearly five-foot long snake.
Apparently the reptile slithered up into the vehicle after being driven out of hits home by recent high waters.
The snake was seen hanging halfway out of the closed door and a store employee dispatched it with a few blows to the head.

For nearly 20 minutes after being killed, the snake continued to writhe and curl sending some chills down the spins of spectators.
Finally the our was open and the creature bagged up and disposed of.
The problem with snakes closing in on humans is more apparent now after widespread floods.
Several bites have been reported but no deaths yet.
Anyone who is bitten can get the anti-venom from a hospital. It is not cheap however. Doses can cost from $20 to $30,000 depending upon the species.
For those brave hearted people who do have an encounter with a snake, wildlife officials say there is an easy way to tell if it is poisonous or not.
“The rule of thumb is: If you can see the snake's eyes and they're round -- they have round pupils -- they're generally harmless and they're good snakes," said Don P. Brown, with the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation. “If a snake has slits like a cat's eye, those are generally the venomous type of snake."
