Melinda Ann Arneecher, a longtime resident of Henryetta, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2015 in Henryetta at the age of 35. Melinda was born Dec. 31, 1979 in Tulsa. She grew up in Henryetta and attended Henryetta Public Schools, graduating from Henryetta High School.
Following high school, Melinda attended college at Northeastern Oklahoma State University in Tahlequah. Melinda loved her four children deeply and loved spending time with all her family. She will truly be missed by her family and the many people who knew and loved her.
Melinda is preceded in death by her mother, Polly Wright.
She is survived by her two daughters, Kasey Leach of Henryetta and Abigail Lane of Dewar; and her two sons, Derrick Leach of Henryetta and Teddy Nathaniel Lane of Dewar; her sister, Shannon Broncho of Okemah; a special cousin, Loretta Sumka of Henryetta; an aunt, Melinda Sumka; by numerous other cousins, other extended family, and many good friends.
Viewing for Melinda will be held Thursday, June 18, 2015 from noon until 8 p.m. at Integrity Funeral Service in Henryetta.
A funeral service for Melinda will be held on Friday, June 19, 2015 at 2  at the New Beginnings Church in Henryetta with Rev. Walter Taylor officiating. Burial will follow the service immediately at the Sumka Family Cemetery, south of Henryetta under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
Pallbearers will be Lucas Sumka, Jeff Sumka, Jerrod Grayson, John Grayson III, Charles Broncho, and Harjo Chee. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Sumka and Teddy Lane.
