New crossing guards are going to be installed at Robertson highway this year.
The work will include installation of lights and gate arms similar to those on Main and Trudgeon with Burlington Northern Santa Fe doing the work.
That announcement was made Tuesday night by city manager Ted Graham.

He said the cost is expected to be $225,000 with 90 percent of the money coming from the federal government.
A hearing is scheduled in Oklahoma City July 8 to discuss the project. No date for construction work to start has been given.
The city had been asked to help with the project last year but the council turned it down.
City attorney Lou Ann Moudy said she has requested information to make sure the city will not be responsible for any cost with the project. "We will not be paying anything," she said. "I just wanted to make sure we don't end up like Corporation where they did some work then walked off and left it." She was referring to rail work that resulted in the asphalt pavement being replaced by gravel.
"All the rules are in their favor though," said Graham. "They are only responsible for two feet on each side of the track."
Graham told the council a new fiber optic line is going to be laid through the area in the coming months.
He said the project is going to reach from Tulsa to Dallas. Work will be going down US 75 to Henryetta then south on the Indian Nation Turnpike to McAlester then along US 69 to Dallas.
"We want to make sure they don't hit any of our water lines," he pointed out. The work is being done by the Zayo Group out of Boulder, Colo.
