A strong second half cinched the 63-43 win by the Beggs Demons over the HHS Knights Tuesday evening.
Playing at home, Henryetta wa able to keep up with the Demons in the first half, 11-16 then trailing 24-27 at the half. The score was tied no fewer than six times during the first half.
Beggs came back in the third period to score 17 points while the Knights were only able to get seven.
Alex Hudson scored 13 of the Henryetta points during the game with Jordan Short getting nine, Ethan Palmer eight, Nick Hudson six. Phillip Rice and Hunter Gobin each had four and Austin Palmer had two.
The biggest thorn in Henryetta’s side came from Beggs Kyron Grayson who scored 22 points by himself. He not only hit under the basket but put four of the Beggs three-point shots on the board. Caleb Parker was also in double digits for the Demons with 11.
