The final 3,000 feet of North Third Street is being resufaced this week. County crews were putting a three-inch layer of asphalt on top of the old pothole-rich road ending at Conifer. When completed the new asphalt surface will extend some three miles from north of Warden Camp road. From there, the crews will be addressing other areas including Arbeka Road and the large culvert that caries overflow water from Nichols Park.
