Linda Irene Morton, a resident of Granbury, Tex. Died Oct. 23, 2022 in Okmulgee at the age of 79. She was born Aug. 23,1943 in Henryetta to Felix Bartolina and Della (Mosler) Bartolina.
Linda married James Paul Morton Feb. 26, 1962 at the Schulter Methodist Church. She worked at Schulter public schools as athletic bookkeeper until her retirement. She was a member of the Cowboy Church in Granbury, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Paul Morton, her parents, Felix and Della Bartolina, a brother, Lester Bartolina, grandparents, Angelo and Irene Bartolina and Clement and Della Mosler.
She is survived by two daughters: Cheryl Salyer and husband Kenny of Shidler and Pam Pippin and husband Brad of Davenport; eleven grandchildren: Jeff and Phoebe Barron of Oklahoma City, Sam and Tiffany Robertson of Henryetta, Jay Barron of Heavner, Jessica and Chris Howard of Henryetta, Leslie and John Spencer of Chandler, Brett Pippin of Alamo, Georgia; eleven great grandchildren: Camden and Bishop Berryhill of Henryetta, Drew Barron of Shidler, Zoey Hadley and Mason Howard of Henryetta, Ansley and Brinden Spencer of Chandler, Raegan Pippin of Davenport, Vivi, Charlie and Harris Barron of Oklahoma City; two brothers, Don Bartolina and wife Darlene of Edmond, and Bobby Bartolina and wife Karen of Granbury, Tex.; three sisters: Donna Baker of Schulter, Dolores Merciez and Deb Wells of Schulter, and Marilyn McElhannon and husband Wayne of Ada; also by a host of friends and other relatives.
Viewing for Linda will be Wednesday, Oct. 26 from 3 until 8 p.m. at Integrity Funeral Service.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 27, 2022 at the Schulter School Gymnasium with Rev. Randall Christy officiating. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
