After posting three consecutive wins, the Lady Knights ran into stiff competition against softball powerhouse Dale Tuesday afternoon.
Henryetta.
Even though the HHS girls went on the board first with RBI hits by Kassedi Lee and Kenley Miller, Dale came back with 15 runs in the bottom of the first with three home runs including a grand slam for the win.
The day before, the Lady Knights held off a sixth inning attack by Tahlequah for a 12-13 win. That was followed by Henryetta using a strong second and fourth inning offense to down Morris 16-6.
Those two wins followed a 7-6 win against Sallisaw last Thursday. That win came courtesy of a walkoff triple by Mckayla Greenhaw in the bottom of the fifth scoring two runs.
