After a several-months-long search, the Henryetta Chamber of Commerce has a new executive director.
Genevieve (Genny) Mooney started her new job Monday with her official first act to meet board members at the monthly meeting.
Mooney comes to the chamber after over 16 years working at the Okmulgee County Courthouse where she was the chief deputy treasurer and worked with the county commissioners.
“We are glad to have Ms. Mooney join the chamber,” said president Jeremy Roberts. “We feel she brings a lot of experience in the office work as well as knowledge in government and background in Okmulgee County.”
