On a hot Labor Day afternoon there is nothing like a cold dish of ice cream to make the day seem perfect. That was the case at the football field when six contestants brought their homemade ice cream flavors to be judged by Henryetta Rotary club members. When the tasting was finished, the peach cobbler entry from Lindsey Babino (center) was declared the winner. Taking second place was the butter pecan flavor from Kim Collins (left) while Keith Estes designed a Butterfinger ice cream flavor good enough for third place.
