As a result of recent events in other parts of the state, Henryetta school officials have adopted a policy that covers spectators coming to sporting or other school events.
Monday night's school board meeting made the following policy effective immediately:

Henryetta Public Schools Spectator Guidelines and Procedures

No re-entrance to event
Students in elementary through 7th grade must have parent/guardian present for the duration of the event. (8th-12th graders must present student ID to enter without guardian).
No outside food or drink

Bag Policy:
• No bags permitted unless it is a clear plastic bag or small wallet (no grocery sacks).
• Bags necessary for approved medical equipment.
• Bags for family care, such as diaper bags are permitted, but may be checked upon entry.
Chair Policy:
Lawn chairs will only be allowed without its bag, and security may ask you to open your chair to check for prohibited items.
Prohibited Items:
• Explosives, firearms or weapons including pocket knives
• Alcohol in all forms.
• Outside food or drink.
• Vapes, tobacco (chewing and smoking).
• Bags, purses, backpacks, fanny packs and hard binocular cases (only clear bags and small wallets allowed).
• Balloons (unless it is part of a school sponsored ceremony).
• All sports balls, skate boards and other sporting equipment. Coolers, containers, tumblers or ice chest
• Laser Pointers
• Pets (with the exception of registered service animals).

Failure to comply with these policies and guidelines will result in being removed from the game with possible future restrictions.
