Henryetta high school teacher and coach Justin Been is in the running for a state honor. Been was named the Henryetta VFW Post 539 candidate for teacher of the year for the state organization. The announcement was made Tuesday prior to the post meeting with commander Bill Goodner making the presentation. Been was recognized for his efforts with the school drama class over the past several years.
