Area veterans who participate in the Feed The vets program are being reminded that the next distribution will be Thursday, March 7 at 11 a.m.
The quarterly food distribution program is sponsored by the Henryetta VFW Post 539 and is held at the New Life Assembly of God Church on the New Lake Road.
VFW service officer Tricia Bear said that change was made because the Community Food Bank is closed on Fridays.
At each distribution, a number of volunteers from schools, organizations and churches help provide a variety of foods to over 100 veterans.
Bear said anyone wishing to volunteer should be at the church at 10 a.m. to get the bags ready.
