Presidential candidates, Nikki Haley, Chris Christie, Asa Hutchinson, Vivek Ramaswamy, Ron DeSantis, Ryan Binkley, David Stuckenberg and Donald Trump will be on the ballot. Even though only Haley and Trump are the only two candidates actively running, the other six were included because they had filed months ago.Sample ballots are available from the state election board website, or from our office at the court house” said Okmulgee County Election Board secretary Ashley Carnes. She pointed out the samples are available only to those voters eligible to vote in the upcoming election.
“If the OK Voter Portal indicates that you have no sample ballots available, it means you are not eligible to vote in an upcoming election. We recommend checking the OK Voter Portal to make sure you have an election before heading to the polls.”
Carnes said sample ballots will also be posted outside every precinct polling place on Election Day so voters can review them before casting their votes.
The Okmulgee County Election Board is located at 314 W 7th Street, Room 102, Okmulgee and is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
