A Henryetta man has entered a guilty plea to a count of distributing methamphetamine.
Kenric West, 47, entered the plea after being charged with distributing 112 grams of mixture and substance containing a detectable amount of methamphetamine, a Schedule II controlled substance.
The federal indictment said that crime occurred September 28, 2023 and stemmed from an investigation by the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.
West was remanded to the custody of the United States Marshal Service pending sentencing.
In 1995 he was convicted of first degree murder in Oklahoma County and sentenced to 55 years. He was released from prison in 2020. He was also convicted of using a vehicle in the discharge of a weapon and given a 20 year sentence.
